PETALING JAYA, Jan 21 — A mob attacked a 39-year-old technician following a minor accident at Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP), Star Online reported.
The incident happened near the LDP Puchong Barat toll plaza and the man suffered multiple injuries on his body and face.
He also lost his personal belongings such as a mobile phone, wallet and identification documents in the incident.
Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the technician was driving along Jalan Batu 13 Puchong at about 7pm on January 19 when he accidentally hit a motorcycle, injuring the rider.
“The man was then chased by a group of people and beaten up at the side of the road. He lost his belongings during the attack,” he said when contacted.
The motorcyclist who suffered a broken rib in the accident was sent to Serdang Hospital.
“We are scrutinising a video of the incident and we are in the midst of identifying those involved,” Azlin Sadari added.
