KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 — The information and communications (ICT) technology centre at MARA Digital Mall has recorded a sale of more than RM28 million since it was set up in Dec 2015.

Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi said the lion’s share of the sale , totalling RM26 million, was made at the Menara MARA Digital Mall here, and the balance at Anggerik Mall MARA Digital, Shah Alam.

He said there were currently four MARA Digital Malls, with two others in Ipoh and Kuantan.

“For the Mara Digital in Ipoh and Kuantan, we have yet to obtain the record of their total sale as they had only started operation,” he said during the oral question-and-answer session in the Dewan Rakyat today.

Nanta said the ministry planned to set up a MARA Digital in every state and had identified four locations for the purpose, namely, in Johor, Melaka, Terengganu and Kelantan. — Bernama
