SEREMBAN, March 17 — The Magistrate’s Court here today sentenced a man to a total of 18 months’ jail after he pleaded guilty to three counts of supplying fake medical certificates, purportedly from a government hospital.
Magistrate Nurulfitriza Abd Latif handed down the sentence on Mohd Nor Izwan Shah Mustapha Kamal, 37, who was charged with abetting three others to obtain the fake medical certificates.
The offence was allegedly committed at a car park at Jalan Yamtuan, Seremban, on April 18 last year.
Mohd Nor Izwan Shah was sentenced to six months’ jail on each count, but ordered to serve them concurrently from the date of his arrest last Jan 4.
