KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 ― Customers who book services through leading online platform RecomN.com will now automatically receive insurance protection for each transaction.
RecomN.com announced that it is partnering Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) to protect both customers and service professionals using its online service platform that connects customers to services like home improvement, repairs, caterers and for events like parties and weddings.
“Teaming up with Allianz was a no brainer as they already offer great products and services that match up with us really well. Quality has always been our focus, right from the start,” Jes Min Lua, co-founder and chief executive officer of RecomN.com, said in a statement.
Under this partnership, customers who hire and give online payments to the service professionals recommended to them through RecomN.com's platform will see their jobs insured by Allianz General.
This means that every job transacted online will be covered from damage, theft and public liability by Allianz General, RecomN.com said.
“On our end, we utilise customer feedback and ratings as a benchmark in maintaining a strict quality of service offered. And, we are proud to say that service professionals on RecomN.com have at least a 4.8 star (out of 5) rating,” Lua said.
Linda Lor, head of digital innovation and special projects of Allianz General, said the insurance company will be able to give the best value for customers through its partnership with RecomN.com.
“RecomN.com has a great track-record with its clients, but customers may want even more reassurance on the service they are purchasing. And now, Allianz is able to serve these customers and allow them the peace of mind knowing that they are protected as soon as they hire a service through RecomN.com,” she was quoted saying in the same statement.
RecomN was founded in July 2014 and describes itself as Southeast Asia’s largest online platform for customers looking for trusted service professionals for the important projects in their lives.
RecomN operates RecomN.com in Malaysia and Sejasa.com in Indonesia, with the latter currently the leading player there for on-demand local services.
