“@RakanCOP2016 Anda perlu hati2 membuat kenyataan. Bilakah saya membuat kenyataan sedemikian. Kenyataan Fitnah Anda ini Merbahaya. @PDRMsia,” the national police chief wrote.

Khalid was responding to user “Puting Beliung” who had in a previous tweet accused him of practicing double standards when ordering arrests against those who issue racially-sensitive remarks.
The same user had in a series of tweets since April 27 questioned the IGP’s alleged bias against the Indians, claiming that insults lobbed at the racial minority typically go unpunished while a different treatment is given to those who insult the Malays.
“Another day, another insult directed towards Non Muslims. Dear respected IGP, justice is a two way street.
“Dear IGP, its been 3 days since my tweet to you on the insult on Indians. Still no action. Is this racial discrimination?
“Dear sir, will you ever reply to my earlier tweets? Do I need to come down and lodge a report with PDRM. At least advice me, please,” @RakanCOP2016 wrote in the tweets.
Several other Twitter users joined the thread after Khalid’s warning, telling @RakanCOP2016 not to make any false accusations against the IGP.
“@RakanCOP2016 Nerrow Minded.statment main belasah je.Jgan menunding jari kepada @KBAB51,” @guzmanelchapo1 wrote, tagging Khalid in the message.
