KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has extended ‘Pongal’ (harvest festival) greetings to Malaysian Indians.

He also called on the Indian community to continue work together with the spirit of ‘nambikei’ (trust) to achieve excellence for the country and for the people to prosper.

“I wish all Malaysian Indians ‘Pongal Vaalthukal’ on the occasion of the harvest festival celebrated this year.

“In this new beginning, let us continue to work together with ‘nambikei’ towards many more bountiful harvests for all in the years to come,” he said in his latest Facebook post in conjunction with the Pongal celebration tomorrow.
