LOS ANGELES, Nov 28 — Introducing Jennifer Lopez as the Star of Guess Jeans Spring 2018 Advertising Campaign

Jennifer Lopez has landed a brand-new fashion campaign for Guess Jeans, and she is marking the moment by nailing old-school retro glamour.

The superstar fronts the LA denim brand’s Spring 2018 advertising campaign, wearing a pair of high-waisted checked shorts, a button-down shirt, and a chunky belt. The retro silhouette is complemented by a pair of white stilettos and a voluminous blow-dry.

Shot by fashion photographer Tatiana Gerusova, the campaign was directed by Guess? Inc co-founder Paul Marciano. According to the brand, the styling and location (an elegant villa) were designed to “evoke classic Guess campaigns with influences of Jennifer’s aesthetic and personal style.”

The news of JLo’s selection for the campaign broke earlier this month, with the multitalented actress, singer and designer saying: “When I got the call from Paul Marciano asking me to become the new Guess Girl, I was thrilled and excited to be a part of such an iconic brand that I have loved since I was a teenager.” She added: “When I look back at early Guess campaigns through the years, you see all of these beautiful models and iconic images that Paul has created. It is a tremendous compliment to have been selected for Guess’ Spring 2018 campaign.”

This campaign is the latest of several big fashion assignments for the star, who teamed up with Missoni and Saks Fifth Avenue in October to front the Key to the Cure campaign to raise money for the Women’s Cancer Research Fund (WCRF). She also recently collaborated with luxury footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti on her GiuseppexJennifer shoe collection, which went on sale back in January. — AFP-Relaxnews
