KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 — Volcanic activity involving Mount Agung in Bali, Indonesia continues to affect flights to and from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2.

In a statement, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) said the list of cancelled flights departing KLIA today were Malaysia Airlines MH715, MH851, MH853, Malindo Air OD324, OD306, OD308 and OD157, while flights arriving in KLIA were MH714, MH850, MH852, OD325, OD305, OD307, as well as Batik Air ID6016.

AirAsia cancelled 14 of its flights flying to and from klia2, namely AK309, AK377, AK307, QZ511. QZ550, QZ556, QZ554, AK308, AK376, AK306, QZ551, QZ557 and QZ555.

In a separate statement, the budget airline said all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights to and from Bali and Lombok today would remain cancelled until further notice.

“Affected guests will be notified of their flight status via email and SMS. AirAsia strongly encourages all guests to update their contact details at airasia.com to ensure they are notified of any updates to their flights,” it added.

AirAsia said guests whose flights were cancelled can either choose to move their flight to a new travel time on the same route within 30 calendar days from the original flight time without additional cost and subject to seat availability or retain the value of their fare in a credit account for future travels, redeemable within 90 calendar days from the date of issuance. — Bernama
