NEW YORK, Oct 19 ― Hundreds of fans in New York stood in line to see actor-turned-author Tom Hanks and have their copies of Uncommon Type: Some Stories signed by him yesterday (October 18).
The Oscar-winner's book features 17 stories linked to his collection of typewriters which he has collected since 1970s, and each story involves a typewriter in some way.
Aside from acting and writing, Hanks is also a governor of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. ― Reuters
