LOS ANGELES, April 12 — Influential music publication Pitchfork will be hosting exclusive pop up events at Tribute Portfolio hotels in Palm Springs; London; and Paris.

The partnership, which the companies are calling “Stay Independent” will give guests access to Pitchfork’s exclusive Internet radio and music streaming show P4K Radio, but will also see the publication hosting ‘pop-up’ episodes, complete with special guests at Starwood’s Tribute Portfolio hotels.

The first, in Palm Springs will coincide with the Coachella Music Festival and confirmed guests will include LCD Soundsystem’s Tyler Pope.

“Our new partnership with Pitchfork, one of the most trusted voices in independent music, will allow us to continue highlighting artists who truly embody our brand’s indie spirit, as well as provide our Starwood Preferred Guest Members access to exclusive festivals and music events across the globe,” said Dave Marr, Global Brand Leader for Tribute Portfolio.
