SINGAPORE, June 16 — Can’t seem to go anywhere without hearing Let It Go? Your kids bugging you to play the Frozen DVD again and again? Well, if you can’t escape it, you might as well visit the actual thing. Yes, the city of Arendelle exists. Kind of. Disney is offering Frozen tours in Norway, the country that inspired the backdrop for the tale. Bookmark these places to make believe you’re Elsa, Anna, Kristoff or Olaf.

BERGEN

This picturesque city is one of the key inspirations for Arendelle, specifically the wharves of Bryggen. The UNESCO World Heritage site is naturally one of the city’s main attractions and the colourful wooden houses along the harbour are right out of a fairytale. Oh wait, they are in the fairytale.

TRONDHEIM

Located in central Norway, Trondheim was where the Disney production team parked themselves and found the look of Frozen’s castle — in the Nidaros Cathedral and the Royal Residences of Stiftsgarden, which is also the largest wooden palace in Scandinavia.

THE FJORDS

The dramatic beauty of the fjords and mountains as seen in the movie will be even more stunning when experienced in person. There are many fjords in Norway, but one of the most popular and breathtaking is the Geirangerfjord. You won’t be able to resist running through the landscape, belting out Elsa’s anthem once you’re there. — TODAY
