COPENHAGEN, Jan 12 ― Noma fans, get your clicker finger ready: A second batch of seats for Noma 2.0 will go on sale January 18.

In fact, if you're set on dining at one of the year's hottest restaurant openings of the year, you may want to clear out your schedule at precisely 3pm GMT, as you'll need to have your trigger finger warmed up and ready for clicking: The first of tickets for Noma's opening season, set to launch February 15, sold out in less than 24 hours, and there are more than 35,000 people on the waiting list.

Like the previous season, diners will be asked to reserve a seat by paying up front. Tickets are DKK2,250 a person (RM1,431), and bookings will be made for the summer season, which opens in May.

The concept of Noma 2.0 is based on seasons. The opening menu pays homage to Scandinavian seafood, which is at its peak during the cold winter months.

The second of three seasonal menus celebrates the plant kingdom from early summer to early fall.

The summer tickets, which go on sale next week, will be for a vegetarian and vegan-friendly meal, with much of the ingredients plucked from the restaurant's on-site urban garden.

Meanwhile, if you're among the 35,000 disappointed fans waiting for your names to be called, don't despair.

As part of a fundraising effort to raise money for his nonprofit MAD food symposium, Redzepi has launched a contest in which donors can win the chance to dine at the restaurant on opening night in February.

The winner and a guest will be flown out to Copenhagen and meet the Noma team. Flights and accommodation in a four-star hotel are also included.
