LOS ANGELES, Dec 8 — Sriracha is a popular sauce that is used in many types of food as a dipping sauce, topping, condiment or as part of a recipe.
What happens when you pair the spicy-tangy taste of sriracha with some unusual foods?
BuzzFeed and Wendy’s collaborate on a video to test people’s reaction to sriracha being paired with food that is not normally associated with the sauce, including gummy bears, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and chocolate ice cream.
Being an ad for Wendy’s, the last item paired with the sauce was their latest spicy sriracha chicken sandwich was a hit with all the testers.
One was so impressed she said she would “name my firstborn Sriracha.”
Sriracha sauce is named after the Thai province of Si Racha, where it may have been first produced.
