LOS ANGELES, Oct 13 — Rapper and TV host Action Bronson appeared on Rachel Ray’s cookery show to demonstrate his recipe for Explosive Crispy Chicken.
Recommending a base of chicken thighs for its taste and marinade-gathering qualities, Bronson prepared a mixed rice flour, corn starch, and club soda coating.
For the dish’s explosive qualities, Bronson turned to Szechuan peppercorns and peppers, scallions, and a half bunch of cilantro with salt and sugar.
Known for making allusions to cooking or the restaurant industry in his lyrics, Bronson worked as a professional chef before his music career took off.
He also presents two shows for Viceland: A Gastronomy webseries, comparitively aggressive compared to Ray’s production, the other being Action Bronson Watches Ancient Aliens, featuring himself and some buddies watching episodes of a History channel series.
