NEW YORK, March 8 — Olive oil cakes are super easy to make and really delicious, especially if they just happen to be covered in chocolate!

This recipe from YouTube channel Tasty will show you how you can prepare mini chocolate-covered olive oil cakes as treat for yourself and your loved ones.

For this recipe, you’ll need 2 cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 1/2 tbsp of finely chopped rosemary, 1 cup of sugar, 3 large eggs, 1 cup of olive oil, 1/2 cup of fresh orange juice, 1 1/2 tbsp of orange zest, 2 tbsp of whole milk, some melted chocolate, as well as sugar orange twist and rosemary leaves for garnishing.

To begin, combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside. Next, mix together the wet ingredients before slowly adding the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until you have a consistent batter.

Oil your mini muffin tin and spoon in enough batter so it’s 1/2 way to the top. Bake at 350°F or 175°C for eight to 10 minutes.

Remove the mini cakes from oven and let it cool to room temp.

For the final touch, dip each mini olive oil cake in the melted chocolate, top with a sugar orange twist and a few rosemary leaves. Dig in once set!
