MELBOURNE, July 5 — As all regular viewers of MasterChef Australia will know, one of the most dreaded challenges for contestants on the popular reality cooking show is the pressure test.

On Monday, Singapore dessert queen Janice Wong, of famed 2am: dessertbar in Holand Village, did just that.

In her first guest appearance on the show hosted by Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris, she asked contestants to reproduce her signature dish, Cassis Plum, in two hours and 15 minutes.
