MUNICH, Dec 18 — The German car manufacturer has chosen the North American International Auto Show to showcase the new BMW M2 and BMW X4 M40i models.

Although the BMW group has already revealed photographs of its two performance models, the NAIAS show will set the scene for the models first appearance to the public.

Characteristics of the BMW M2 Coupe include an engine output of up to 370hp, making it a top high-performance compact sports vehicle, accelerating to 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds. In addition, the BMW X4 M40i has set the benchmark in outstanding driving dynamics with 360hp engine output and an acceleration time of 4.9 seconds to reach 100km/h.  

The NAIAS will take place in Detroit from January 11 to 24. — AFP-Relaxnews
