Fuzi Harun takes over as acting deputy IGP

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 5 — Datuk Seri Mohamad Fuzi Harun today officially took over as acting Deputy Inspector-General of Police following the retirement of Tan Sri Mohd Bakri Zinin.

Mohamad Fuzi was previously Bukit Aman’s management department director.

The handing over of duty ceremony was held at the Royal Malaysia Police

Training Centre (Pulapol) here, witnessed by Ministry of Home Affairs senior deputy secretary-general (Security) Datuk Alwi Ibrahim.

Mohd Bakri before this assumed the position since May 17, 2013.

“After almost 39 years of serving in the police force, this career has been

my life and it may not be easy to forget all that I have experienced serving on the force,” said Mohd Bakri. — Bernama
